What information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, including:
Your name and contact details when you fill in our enquiry form, book a call or send us an email. Project information and materials you share with us as part of a working relationship. Payment information processed through our invoicing and payment systems.
We also collect some information automatically when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited and how long you spent on them. This is collected through cookies and analytics tools.

Why we collect it and what we use it for
We use your information to respond to enquiries and provide the services you have commissioned us for. To send invoices and process payments. To communicate with you about your project. To improve our website and understand how people use it. To send occasional updates or information about our services where you have given us permission to do so.
We will never sell your data to anyone. We will never share it with third parties except where necessary to deliver our services, for example our invoicing software or email provider, and only with providers who handle data securely and in line with UK GDPR.
Our legal basis for processing your data
Under UK GDPR we need a lawful basis to process your personal data. We rely on the following:
Contract: where processing is necessary to deliver the services you have commissioned.
Legitimate interests: where we have a genuine business reason to process your data, for example keeping records of client communications or improving our website.

How long we keep your data
We keep client project files and communications for six years after the end of a project in line with standard business record-keeping requirements. Enquiry data from people who do not become clients is kept for no longer than 12 months. Website analytics data is retained in line with the settings of the analytics tools we use.

Our website and business operations use a number of third-party tools including Squarespace and Google Analytics for our website, HubSpot for CRM and lead management, Calendly for booking calls and our invoicing software for payments. Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data handling practices. We only use providers we trust to handle data responsibly.

Our website may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and this policy does not apply to them.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do we will update the date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes we will let active clients know directly.
